The art was incredibly slick and uniquely blends noir with steampunk. Noirpunk? Neologisms aside, the jazz lounge music is an odd choice but it feels so right I'd have nothing else.

I do feel you should work on the script a little bit, and while the silhouetted art style is great it's nigh on impossible to make out anything (after all it is just shadow filled outlines) and if not for the objective reticules (which makes it feel like the game is "hand holding") it would be completely incoherent.

It makes for a rather off putting catch 22, but if you can fix that problem in the next game this (hopefully) series will skyrocket into professional quality.

Gameplay wise, it's fun. But there is just so much more you could have done to it. For starters, the images don't feel like they belong. Like they were just put there to look cool and you didn't put any thought to a correct placement. And after you win, a replay button would have been nice.

Another thought would be to add a computer player. Playing against a friend is nice, but that's usually the addons of games, not the main feature.

There is one thing you must improve: more levels: because it was very short and easy.

Other ones: more upgrades and add-ons will be (I think) a little better, a system for keeping droppable items and use them when you want, and other attacks for the ennemi (only laser was too easy: keeping moving let you dodge all attack... let them fire missiles, flamers or other weapons)

Otherwise, it's quite a good game: good work ^^
